Our Training Classes
Puppy Socialization (for puppies 8 weeks to 6 months of age)
There is a critical window from 8-16 weeks for socialization. This important time in a puppy’s life can help shape how they will be as adults in dealing with new people, places, meeting dogs, and handling new experiences. During this class, puppies are off leash learning to play appropriately with other puppies.
Group Training (for friendly dogs of any age)
Learn critical information about dog communication and how important it is for you to be the one in charge. We teach you simple yet highly effective exercises resulting in dramatic shifts in your dog’s behavior. It goes without saying that you will improve your skills and confidence resulting in a better relationship with your dog.
Intermediate Group (for dogs of any age)
What an exciting accomplishment. You have completed the basics and you’re ready to move on. Isn’t training fun? Now that you know HOW to train your dog we hope that you will consider our Intermediate Classes as the perfect bridge between the basics and our more advanced classes. The intermediate curriculum is less lecture and more hands-on. We will up the expectations and up the fun! We will assist you as you take your new-found skills to new levels.
Advanced Training (for dogs of any age)
Advanced Training is all about building on your dog’s current skills and increasing the challenge. Your dog will become more reliable and solid with the basic commands in the presence of realistic distractions, like other dogs and people in busy environments.
Reactive Dog Training (for dogs of any age)
Looking to help your anti-social, reactive, or aggressive dog behave better towards other dogs or people ? We have just what you need.
Helping your dog to overcome reactivity is all about providing clear communication and strong leadership. In this class, we will help you strengthen your relationship with your dog to ensure that your dog not only loves you, but also respects you and looks to you for guidance and support.
Tricks Training (for dogs of any age)
During class you will learn how to teach your dog specific tricks. More importantly, you will learn the foundation of how to train your dog tricks, how to break down complicated tricks into specific parts, and how to put individual pieces together to complete a trick. Once you understand how to train tricks, the possibilities are endless as to what you can teach your dog.
Pet Therapy Classes (for dogs who want to make a difference in the lives of others)
We believe dog training and education is an ongoing process and life-long commitment. We work hard to help our want-to-be therapy dogs build a solid foundation in obedience and strong, working relationships with their handlers. During our classes, we help you prepare for certification as a pet therapy team.
In-Person Class Times & Locations
We love the hybrid of virtual and in-person training.
"We have been working with Lylah, Sam, Lauren and several other trainers. They are so knowledgeable and really give personal attention to each of the dogs. I like how they go around and check in with each person and work on specific issues the client would like to work on with their dog. The puppy socialization is so much fun to watch and my puppy genuinely enjoys it. Lylah's dog is amazing to watch working with the puppies. There are always classes available and several options. Thank you so much to you and your staff. We are very happy we joined and look forward continuing with the classes.
